    Gaerne technology combined with the know-how of Michelin’s designers and technicians, gave birth to the new EPS Light Weight Carbon Fiber Mtb sole, offering the right mix of performance, durability, strength and lightweight. Its structure is made up of carbon to provide excellent stiffness and power in pedaling. Michelin rubber tread combines a compound designed to balance performance and abrasion resistance – also in extreme conditions – with a design profile which allows for excellent hold and traction. The large distance between the treads allows better self-cleaning and instant mud shedding. For the riders who need even more grip, two holes in the toe cup allow the fixing of screw-on and interchangeable cleats, available in different colours. Tested by the best bikers, this sole represents the pinnacle in terms of technology, innovation and functional quality.

    Direct from the Research and Development Team at Gaerne comes the new “MTB 2DENSITY SOLE”. A new sole designed specifically for Mountain Bike use. The structure of the sole combines both nylon and fiberglass materials, making it durable, lightweight and thin. The tread has been designed to ensure maximum grip/stability and has an excellent resistance to varying types of terrain. Two removable front studs give this shoe improved traction in variable and muddy terrains.
